BIOGRAPHY
Tony Berry brings over thirty years of experience in strategic communications, starting his career as a public affairs specialist in the United States Army. After six years of service, he moved into the civilian sector, collaborating with a variety of organizations, including for-profit businesses, nonprofits, and governmental agencies. Throughout his career, Tony has played a key role in assisting these entities in enhancing their public image and securing positive media coverage.
His professional journey includes serving as a press secretary for a United States senator and holding a senior vice president position at a biotech communications agency. He also worked as the senior director of media relations for UMass Memorial Health,
a significant healthcare system in Massachusetts.
Tony’s contributions to the field of communications have been acknowledged through various awards, including three for crisis communications, the PR Daily CEO Grace Under Pressure Award for 2020, and multiple Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringer Awards, as well as the PRSA’s Big Apple and Silver Mercury Awards. His extensive experience and diverse background allow him to offer valuable insights and innovative solutions to his clients, making him a respected professional in the strategic communications landscape.
